It has been over 26 years since Barbe started in the Real Estate industry. Her first office was in Sonoma, California, in 1982. Even in her first year, she was a top producer and very active in the Sonoma County Association of Realtors. In 1983, she met her husband, Glenn, who is a native Nevadan, born in Dayton. In 1984, they moved to Reno where Barbe associated with Coldwell Banker, Plummer/Canepa Realty. She was appointed in 1987 to be the manager of the satellite office in the Sears, Reno store. This office was dedicated to training new agents, with Barbe as the educator. In 1990, she began to sell new homes and did so exclusively for different builders for 18 years, moving to Dayton in 2001. Then, in April, 2008, Barbe decided it was time for resale again and associated with Coldwell Banker Best Sellers in Dayton. She understands how important the Coldwell Banker team is as a respected and recognized name world wide. She also realizes how important community involvement is as the 2008- 2009 President of the Dayton Valley Lions Club and on the Board of Directors for the club since 2002. Also, since 2002, Barbe was on the Board of Directors for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce and vice-President for 2007. Barbe was also active with the committee which was able to create the question for the 2004 Lyon County Ballot for voters to decide whether they wanted Dayton as an unincorporated town or not. And she continues to be active in the Dayton community.
Barbe has a degree in English and Math from the University of California, Sonoma and post graduate education in Real Estate, Home Construction, Home Remodel and Landscape Architecture. She is familiar with nearly all aspects of the Real Estate business.

If I don't have the experience with what you want, I will find an experienced person to help."
